What's Brewing at Saltwater Brewery - December 13th
Happy Thirsty Thursday! Come enjoy a pint and check out what’s brewing below:
On tap today is our Rye BBL Saison, a mild, slightly hoppy saison with peppery and lemony notes. Aged in wood barrels, vanilla comes through from the wood with a nice finish of a good rye. Light and refreshing, the abv is around 3.9%.
On Sunday, come work off your weekend beer with our Burn & Brew 5K with Orangetheory Fitness! Registration begins at 4pm and the run begins promptly at 5pm. Cost is $5, which includes a free pour of beer and all proceeds go to Lake Worth Waterkeeper charity. All skill levels and speeds welcome (dogs too!), food available from That Vegan Food Truck, fun, games, and plenty of post-run beer available!
Actively Fermenting: Screamin’ Reels IPA and Sea Cow Milk Stout!
Cellar News: Our experimental IPA (Screamin’ Reels with a different dry hop) finished fermenting today. That will be dry hopped soon and headed to the tap room!
Cool Milestones: We successfully completed our full cycle with the new 80 bbl tank in the last week - passivation of the new stainless, sanitizing, transferring yeast into it, brewing into it, dry hopping it, centrifuging out of it, and packaging it. Everything went well and we will be brewing back into it next week!
