Our Brewmaster is working on a little experiment this week! He is brewing up two new beers brewed with the Datil Pepper - a hot pepper similar to habanero, but with a sweeter, fruitier flavor - in conjunction with Slow Food Ark of Taste Florida. You'll have a chance to try our Datil Pepper & Mango IPA and Datil Pepper Locale at this Wednesday's Trivia Night (7-9pm). Proceeds from the raffle will benefit our Slow Food Chapter, so please come on out and bring friends!

Working with organizations around the globe, from anti-plastic summits to local beach cleanups and reef building projects, we are always working to raise awareness about issues and solutions related to our Oceans. Saltwater made it to D.C.! We are honored to be 1 of 86 breweries from around the country (and 1 of 3 Florida breweries) chosen to pour at SAVOR: An American Craft Beer & Food Experience. We are representing American craft beer and speaking with the House to change their decisions on excise tax for small brewers and joining the Small Brewers Caucus. We brought our flagship Screamin' Reels IPA, along with the light and refreshing Passion Pit, and are here to enjoy a few days of the country's best craft beer, delicious food and influential meetings.

We're celebrating American Craft Beer Week all week long at Saltwater! We have some exciting new things on tap, including Tides of the Reef Room Batch 9 Double IPA, Grapefruit Screamin' Reels IPA, and if you're feeling brave...our 11% American Strong Ale, Black Current! Mango Pineapple Screamin' Reels releases this Thursday at noon for Thirsty Thursday, food trucks are here every night and live music starts on Saturday at 7pm.
