Bar Manager
FOH (Reef Room) · Full-time, ~40-50 hrs/week; nights and weekends · Delray Beach, FL
We're hiring a hands-on Bar Manager to run the Reef Room taproom and beer garden day to day — the staff, the service, and the beer garden nights that make us who we are.
What you'll do
- Open, run, and close the Reef Room taproom and beer garden — draft lines, cleanliness top to bottom, and pre-shift with the crew before doors.
- Lead the floor during service: jump behind the bar during rushes and coach bartenders and beertenders in real time.
- Know and pour our Core Four — Screamin' Reels IPA, Sea Cow Milk Stout, LocAle Golden Ale, and Passion Pit Fruit Ale — plus rotating seasonals.
- Own the schedule and bar inventory: weekly counts, ordering, and waste control, keeping labor in line with sales.
- Verify 21+ IDs and hold the line on responsible service every single shift.
- Close the night: cash-out, POS reports, walk-through, and a short shift note back to ownership.
What we need
- 21 or older — we're a brewery, and ours is a 21+ workplace.
- 2+ years of bar, taproom, or restaurant leadership experience with real staff responsibility.
- Comfortable actively working behind the bar during peak, not just managing from the office.
- Solid POS and cash handling experience (Toast, Clover, Square, or similar).
- Reliable transportation to Delray Beach and availability for nights and weekends year-round.
- Florida Responsible Vendor / TIPS / ServSafe Alcohol certification (or willingness to complete it within the first 30 days), and legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Pay
$52,000–$65,000/yr, based on experience. W-2, full-time (~40–50 hrs/week).
