Our 1st Anniversary Party is fast approaching. Besides having lots of beer in tap, we will also be having a beer and food pairing competition. 6 restuarants and 6 breweries are paired together for a one bite / beer taster. Tickets are $25 and go on sale today. The pairings are:

TBC & 50 Ocean

Beer: Full bodied classic English style barley wine. Copper colored with tawny, caramel and dark fruit notes. Aged on Minnesota oak for a woody, charred accent. 9.1% ABV 42 IBU

Bite: Salted duck pierogi. Duck confit, rogue smokey bleu and plum jam.

Sailfish Brewery & Sybarite Pig

Beer: Imperial porter with cocoa nibs, coffee, caramel, sea salt, datil peppers and Trinidad scorpion peppers. 8.9% ABV 31 IBU

Bite: Oxacan brownie made with 60% cacao, coffee, ancho chile, a touch of cayenne and salted caramel on top.

Wynwood Brewery & Sweetwater Bar and Grill

Beer: Conicial Visit Black IPA. Brewed with Amarillo and el dorado. 5.6% ABV

Bite: Short rib braised with Turkish figs and port reduction and goat cheese.

Saltwater Brewery & Dada

Beer: Sunken’ Scotsmen has a mild toffee nose. The toffee, caramel, and roast characteristic is more present in the first sip. This beer finishes with a smooth caramel flavor and slight hop bite. 6.5% ABV 27 IBU

Bite: Braised all natural beef short ribs, guava paste, water chestnuts, shaved parmesan and blue cheese finished with a drizzle of sweet soy.

Funky Buddha and Papas Raw Bar

Beer: Small axe Big IPA. Double IPA. Golden hued, deceptively strong and full tropical aroma. Heady notes of pineapple, orange, mango, guava and grapefruit. 9.5% 85 IBU

Bite: Seafood vinaigrette. Conch, crawfish, shrimp, tomatoes, onions, celery and olives in a homemade vinaigrette.

Cigar City & Smoke

Beer: Hard cider. Golden straw color with flavors and aromatics featuring notes of crisp Pink Lady apples with hints of granny smith and a soft balancing acidity. A medium dry finish. 5.5 % ABV

Bite: 4 hour St. Louis cut pork spare ribs

Thursday we are having a beer and ice cream float flights!  Frosty Point from Lighthouse Point will be providing the ice cream for the floats. Floats start at 7:30 on the 18th.  

Our growler sale of Screamin' Reels is still going on!  $5 32 oz fills and $20 gallon fills!  We also have Sunken' Scotsman on growler fills starting this week!

Mayday is back on tap. It is our 10.2% Chocolate Cream Porter. Tapping on Thursday is our Winter Ale!  It is a 7.5% belgian dark ale aged on fresh New Jersey cranberries, orange peel, nutmeg, cinnamon, and pine. 

Our holiday keg sale is still going on! Kegs are $50 for sixtels and $100 for half kegs. Sixtels available are South End, Screamin' Reels, Tides of the Reef Room: Batch 1, and Octo-Festbier. Half kegs available are Screamin' Reels, and Tides of the Reef Room: Batch 1 (South End Sold Out). $100 keg deposit for all kegs.
